Goupix (known as Rokon in Japan) is a fictional creature from the global Pokémon franchise, created by Game Freak and published by Nintendo. Present since the first generation of video games with the Pokémon Red and Blue versions released in 1996, Goupix is a Fire-type Pokémon. It has the particularity of evolving into a Feunard when exposed to the radiation of a Fire Stone. Described in the Pokédex as the "Fox Pokémon", it is born with a single white tail that splits into six silky, curly appendages as it receives affection from its trainer. Able to handle flames and spit glowing embers, it regulates its internal temperature by expelling excess heat from its mouth. This pop culture icon has been adapted for use in a wide range of media, including card games and animated series.
