Heather Mason (real name Cheryl Mason) is the main protagonist of the survival horror video game Silent Hill 3, developed by Team Silent and published by Konami in 2003. Seventeen years old, she is the adopted daughter of the first game's protagonist, Harry Mason. With her independent and sarcastic nature, her life is turned upside down when her ordinary life is brutally distorted by the nightmarish dimension of the Other World. Hunted by members of the town's religious cult, the Order, she discovers that she is in fact the reincarnation of Alessa Gillespie and has been conceived to once again bear the cult's malevolent divinity. Heather then embarks on a rigorous psychological journey to avenge her father and put a definitive end to the occult organisation's macabre ambitions.
