Discover Flint Marko in his Sandman guise with this Cosbaby figurine inspired by *Spider-Man: No Way Home*. Sandman is depicted in a combat stance, his body leaning forwards and both arms raised. His right arm has completely transformed into an imposing fist of sand, whilst his other hand remains human and clenched. His tense expression, furrowed brow and slightly parted mouth convey the character’s anger and determination.

The sculpture captures Flint Marko’s appearance, with his short brown hair and classic outfit consisting of a green top with dark horizontal stripes, brown trousers and a matching belt. His feet, too, are encased in a textured mass of sand, giving the impression that his transformation is progressing from the ground up.

The surface treatment clearly distinguishes the human parts from the areas made of sand. The fist and legs feature an irregular, grainy texture, whilst the clothing and face retain a smoother finish. A red base supports the composition and helps to keep the figurine in its dynamic pose.

Character background and lore

Flint Marko is a criminal who gains the ability to transform his body into sand after being exposed to a scientific experiment. He can alter his density, increase his size, regenerate damaged parts of his body and shape his limbs into massive weapons, such as hammers or giant fists.

In Spider-Man 3, Flint’s main aim is to raise money to help his sick daughter. His actions bring him into conflict with Peter Parker, who also discovers that Marko was involved in the events leading to the death of his Uncle Ben. Despite his power and his criminal choices, Sandman is not portrayed as an entirely malicious character: he often acts out of desperation and regrets the consequences of his decisions.

In Spider-Man: No Way Home, Sandman is transported to another universe following a spell cast by Doctor Strange. He encounters a new version of Peter Parker and several adversaries from other realities. Initially willing to cooperate, he gradually becomes suspicious and seeks above all to return to his own world.

His powers enable him to survive normally fatal attacks and to take on a gigantic form composed of sand particles. However, he remains vulnerable to certain elements capable of disrupting the cohesion of his body or solidifying his grains.

This figurine highlights this duality between man and creature. The face and part of the body retain Flint Marko’s human appearance, whilst his arm and legs are already transforming into sandy masses ready to strike.
