Relive the events of the Battle of Geonosis with this articulatedObi-Wan Kenobi action figure, measuring approximately 9.5 cm and part of Hasbro’s Star Wars: The Vintage Collection. Inspired by his appearance in Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones, it depicts the Jedi Knight whilst investigating the creation of a mysterious clone army.

The figure features detailed sculpting, photorealistic paintwork and multiple points of articulation, allowing you to recreate various combat poses. Obi-Wan wears his signature Jedi outfit, consisting of a light-coloured tunic and a fabric lower section that adds greater flexibility to the figure.

Character background and lore

Obi-Wan Kenobi is a respected Jedi, formerly trained by Qui-Gon Jinn. Following his master’s death, he fulfils his promise to train the young Anakin Skywalker, whom some members of the Jedi Order regard as the Chosen One destined to restore balance to the Force.

In *Attack of the Clones*, Obi-Wan investigates an assassination attempt on Senator Padmé Amidala. His investigations lead him to Kamino, where he discovers that a vast army of clones has been secretly created on behalf of the Republic. He also encounters the bounty hunter Jango Fett, whose genetic material was used to produce the clone troopers.

Obi-Wan then pursues Jango to Geonosis and discovers that Count Dooku is rallying the forces of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Captured after passing on his information to the Jedi Council, he is sentenced to death in an arena before being rescued by Anakin, Padmé and several dozen Jedi.

The ensuing battle marks the start of the Clone Wars. Obi-Wan then becomes a general in the Grand Army of the Republic and fights for several years alongside his former Padawan, to whom he remains a mentor, a friend and a brotherly figure.
