Discover Rotta the Hutt in his new look with this articulated figure from Hasbro’s Star Wars: The Vintage Collection. Inspired by the film Star Wars: The Mandalorian & Grogu, it depicts Jabba the Hutt’s son as an adult, portrayed as an imposing fighter armed with gladiator weapons.

Designed to fit into the range of 9.5 cm figures, this Deluxe version features detailed sculpting and photorealistic paintwork inspired by his on-screen appearance. His massive build, textured skin and combat outfit capture the characteristic silhouette of the Hutts whilst highlighting the character’s evolution.

The figure has several points of articulation, including an articulated tail that allows its position to be adjusted for display. It comes with six accessories, comprising a battle axe, a sword and several interchangeable hands to vary poses and display set-ups.

Presented in packaging inspired by historic Kenner cards, this first appearance of Rotta the Hutt in The Vintage Collection is a unique piece to display alongside Din Djarin, Grogu, Jabba the Hutt and other characters from the Star Wars universe.

Character background and lore

Rotta the Hutt is the son of Jabba the Hutt and the heir to his vast criminal empire. He first appears as an infant in the animated film *Star Wars: The Clone Wars*, released in 2008. He is affectionately nicknamed ‘Stinky’ by Ahsoka Tano.

During the Clone Wars, Rotta is kidnapped as a result of a plot organised by Ziro the Hutt and Count Dooku. Anakin Skywalker and his young Padawan, Ahsoka Tano, are tasked with finding him and discover the young, ailing Hutt in a monastery on the planet Teth.

His rescue is of major strategic importance: in exchange for his son’s return, Jabba grants the Republic permission to use the hyperspace routes controlled by the Hutts. Rotta is finally returned to his father after Ziro’s plot is uncovered.

In *Star Wars: The Mandalorian & Grogu*, Rotta reappears as an adult. Although he is the heir to his late father’s organisation, he has chosen a different path and now presents himself as a powerful fighter, wielding, amongst other weapons, an axe and a sword. This incarnation marks his live-action debut as well as his first appearance in The Vintage Collection.
