Recreate Din Djarin and Grogu’s ship with this model of the Razor Crest, inspired by the film Star Wars: The Mandalorian & Grogu. Produced by Revell at a scale of 1/72, this kit reproduces the new cinematic version of the former patrol vessel, which has become the famous duo’s mode of transport and mobile base.

The model consists of 101 plastic parts to assemble. Once completed, it measures approximately 33.7 cm in length, offering a size large enough to showcase the Razor Crest’s sturdy hull, two large side engines and distinctive silhouette.

The model features a detailed cockpit complete with a pilot figure. The access hatches and the large rear loading ramp can be fitted in the open position to reveal the interior, or closed to preserve the ship’s exterior lines.

The landing gear can also be set in the extended position to display the Razor Crest on the ground, or retracted for display in flight configuration. A stand is included to hold the model above its base in a dynamic pose.

A sheet of decals reproducing the markings from the 2026 film edition is included with the kit. This new version of the Razor Crest stands out for its cleaner appearance, which is closer to its original configuration, notably featuring a yellow stripe that is better preserved than on the heavily worn and customised ship seen in the series.

This traditional model requires assembly using glue and painting. Rated at difficulty level 3, it is recommended by Revell for ages 10 and over and offers numerous options for weathering to reproduce the ship’s metallic appearance.

Origin and background of the ship (Lore)

The Razor Crest is a former military patrol ship built before the rise of the Galactic Empire. Sturdy, heavily armed and capable of operating in remote regions, it becomes the personal ship of the Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin.

Din uses the Razor Crest as a means of transport, accommodation, armoury and detention facility for his targets. Its large rear hold allows him to carry supplies, prisoners and the equipment needed for his missions across the galaxy.

Din’s life changes when he is tasked with capturing a mysterious Force-sensitive creature. Ultimately refusing to hand the child over to the remnants of the Empire, he decides to protect him and sets out to find his people. The child is later named Grogu.

The Razor Crest then becomes the mobile home for this new duo. Din and Grogu use it to travel to different planets, meet allies and evade Imperial forces seeking to exploit the child’s powers.

The ship has a thick hull, two imposing engines and several weapon systems suited to the dangerous missions of a bounty hunter. Its exterior, marked by repairs and signs of wear and tear, reflects the many battles its owner has endured.

In the film *The Mandalorian & Grogu*, a new version of the Razor Crest accompanies the two characters. The teams at Industrial Light & Magic deliberately depicted this craft in a condition closer to that of a brand-new ship, with a cleaner hull and markings in better condition than those on Din’s first ship.

Din Djarin is a Mandalorian warrior who grew up within a group that adhered to strict rules regarding the wearing of armour and helmets. Initially a loner, he gradually develops a fatherly bond with Grogu and prioritises the child’s safety over his bounty-hunting contracts.

Grogu is a young Force-sensitive creature who was once trained by the Jedi Order. Despite his very young appearance, he possesses significant powers and is gradually learning to master them during his travels with Din.

This Revell model recreates the Razor Crest as a veritable flying home: a former military craft converted into a base of operations for a Mandalorian warrior and the child he has chosen to protect.
