Origin and world of the character
The plot of the live-action TV series The Mandalorian takes place chronologically five years after the fall of the Empire in the original trilogy(Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi). The story follows a freelance Mandalorian bounty hunter operating in remote areas of the galaxy. This specific variation refers directly to the events at the end of the second season of the series, during a scene in which the main protagonist solemnly removes his helmet to greet and entrust the Child (Grogu) to his new Jedi guardian. This gesture marks a major departure from the strict code of honour that the bounty hunter had pledged to follow since his initiation.
