Origin and world of the character
The character of Andy Davis comes from the animated film Toy Story, produced by Pixar Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures in 1995. Directed by John Lasseter, this masterpiece is historically the very first feature-length animated film to be produced entirely using computer-generated images. The story takes place in a contemporary world where toys secretly come to life as soon as humans leave the room. At the heart of the story is Andy, the dynamic and imaginative young boy who belongs to the main heroes, cowboy Woody and astronaut Buzz Lightyear. His unbridled creativity through his play sessions dictates the roles and shapes the whole social and emotional organisation of his room, making him the central motivational hub for his toys.
