Kranix can transform from robot mode to spaceship mode in 20 steps. Character’s origin and universe

Kranix is a native of the planet Lithone in *Transformers: The Movie*. He is one of the few survivors of the destruction of his world by Unicron, a gigantic mechanical entity capable of devouring planets.

After escaping this catastrophe, Kranix is captured by the Quintessons. He is tried and sentenced by their courts before being taken to the Sharkticons’ pool. Later, Hot Rod and Kup meet him whilst they themselves are prisoners of the Quintessons.

Although his appearance is relatively brief, Kranix plays an important role in revealing the existence of Unicron and the threat he poses. This Studio Series figure brings this supporting but memorable character to life as an articulated, transformable model faithful to the aesthetic of the animated film.
