Discover Decepticon Runabout, one of the famous Battlechargers from the Transformers universe, with this Deluxe Class WFC-E41 figure from Hasbro’s Generations – War for Cybertron: Earthrise range. 

Standing approximately 14 cm tall in robot mode, Runabout sports his distinctive Decepticon look, dominated by black, directly inspired by his classic design. Fully articulated, the figure allows you to recreate various combat poses or display it alongside other characters from the War for Cybertron collection.

Like any true Transformer, Runabout features two modes. The figure transforms from robot mode to a G1 sports car in 16 steps, offering both a display piece and a transformation faithful to the character’s historical identity.

The figure comes with a blaster that can be attached in both robot and vehicle modes. It is also designed to be paired with Runamuck WFC-E37, Runabout’s partner in the Decepticon Battlechargers duo.

Character background and universe (Lore)

Runabout is a Decepticon traditionally associated with Runamuck. Together, the two robots form the Battlechargers, a duo known as much for their taste for destruction as for their tendency to wreak havoc wherever they go.

In the War for Cybertron: Earthrise universe, Runabout is separated from his partner during a mission to infiltratethe Autobots’ Ark. He remains engaged in the conflict, however, as the war for the AllSpark continues beyond Cybertron. It is precisely this context that Hasbro uses to present this WFC-E41 version of the character.

Runabout transforms into a black sports car, directly reminiscent of his original G1 incarnation. Together with Runamuck, he forms a particularly recognisable duo amongst the Decepticon ranks, with the two characters sharing a complementary aesthetic and transformation concept.

This WFC-E41 version thus allows fans to rediscover Runabout in a modern interpretation that retains the hallmarks of his historic design, whilst benefiting from the articulation and transformation engineering specific to the War for Cybertron: Earthrise range.
