Character background and lore

Chrono Genesis is a reserved Uma Musume with a particular passion for racing history. Her official profile explains that she is interested in the achievements of the Uma Musume and their trainers, as well as the dreams and stories that unfold around the races. This passion drives her to take her predictions seriously and to visit racecourses regularly with a large camera. She is voiced in Japanese by Hiyori Manase.

Like many characters in the franchise, Chrono Genesis is inspired by a real-life Japanese racehorse. The mare Chrono Genesis, born on 6 March 2016, made a name for herself by winning the 2019 Shuka Sho, the Takarazuka Kinen in 2020 and 2021, and the 2020 Arima Kinen. The Japan Racing Association lists her as a grey mare bred at Northern Farm and trained by Takashi Saito.
