Eeyore is a fictional character from the books by British author Alan Alexander Milne, published in the 1920s and later adapted into animated productions by Disney Studios. In the mythology of the work, Eeyore is an old grey and blue stuffed donkey belonging to the toy collection of the young Christopher Robin. Living in the Hundred Acre Wood, he is characterised by a pessimistic temperament, a monotonous voice and an unfortunate tendency to regularly lose his tail, which is simply attached to his body by a thumbtack. Despite his gloomy nature, he plays an active part in the daily adventures of his companions, including Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Tigger and Rabbit.
