Origin and world of the character
James Stuart Duggan (better known by his stage name "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan) is a legendary American professional wrestler, most famous for his performances in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF/WWE) and World Championship Wrestling (WCW) during the 1980s and 1990s. Inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011, he made history by becoming the first ever winner of the annual Royal Rumble stipulation match in 1988. Characterised by his theatrical American patriotism and boundless energy, he would always appear in the ring brandishing a US flag and a wooden plank (2x4) over his shoulder, while haranguing the crowd to the rhythm of his signature cry "Hooo! The figurine transposes this popular figure from the golden age of wrestling into the collection's signature geometric style.- *
