Origin and world of the figure

The design of this figurine was inspired by the final arc of the first season of the X-Men '97 animated series. Following the destruction of asteroid M, the X-Men team find themselves thrown and scattered across different eras of history. Part of the group, including Cyclops and Jean Grey, is sent to the distant future, while another faction is propelled to ancient Egypt in the year 3000 BC. It is during this time that they meet a young man named En Sabah Nur, before he becomes history's first mutant and assumes the identity of the major antagonist known as Apocalypse.
