The powerful Firebender Zuko joins Funko’s Pop! Movies collection with this figure, numbered 2110, inspired by the animated film *Avatar: The Last Airbender*. Having become Fire Lord following Ozai’s defeat, the former prince now continues his fight alongside Aang to preserve peace between the various nations.

Character background and lore

Zuko is the son of Fire Lord Ozai and Princess Ursa. Born into the royal family of the Fire Nation, he grew up in an environment dominated by ambition, fear and political rivalries. He also has an ancestral connection to the Avatar Roku on his mother’s side.

As a teenager, Zuko publicly opposes a military plan he considers unjust. His father then forces him to take part in an Agni Kai duel, inflicts the scar that marks his face, and banishes him from the Fire Nation. To regain his honour and the right to return home, Zuko is given the mission to capture the Avatar, who has been missing for a hundred years.

Accompanied by his uncle Iroh, Zuko pursues Aang across the world. However, his journey leads him to gradually question the Fire Nation’s propaganda, his father’s ambitions and his own definition of honour.

After much hesitation, Zuko finally chooses to join Aang, Katara, Sokka and Toph. He becomes the Avatar’s firebending mentor and helps them bring an end to the Hundred Year War. Following Ozai’s defeat, Zuko ascends to the throne and sets about repairing the damage caused by several generations of conquest.

In *Avatar: The Last Airbender*, Zuko appears at a later stage in his life. He works alongside Aang and their allies to maintain balance amongst the nations, manage the aftermath of the war and rebuild the communities destroyed by the conflict.

This Pop! Movies figurine thus depicts Zuko after his redemption: no longer as the exiled prince obsessed with capturing the Avatar, but as a leader tasked with transforming the Fire Nation and building a more peaceful world.
