- Origin and world of the character (Lore)
The Xenomorph is the perfect alien endoparasitoid organism dreamt up by designer H.R. Giger and introduced by director Ridley Scott in the cinematic masterpiece Alien in 1979. Devoid of human consciousness and guided solely by a relentless instinct to survive and propagate, it possesses highly corrosive acidic blood, extraordinary agility and a deadly retractable double jaw. Shown here as a study subject, captured by scientists from the sinister Weyland-Yutani Corporation, the monster symbolises human hubris in the face of a totally untameable force of spatial nature that always ends up breaking its confinement.
