Chachamaru is a small cat closely associated with Tamayo and Yushiro in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. Unlike the demon slayers and demons who take centre stage, he plays a more discreet yet nonetheless useful role within their network.

In particular, Chachamaru acts as a messenger, carrying information and various items needed for Tamayo’s research. In this way, he indirectly contributes to the efforts to better understand demons and develop ways to fight them.
