In the world of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, a dark fantasy series created by Koyoharu Gotouge, Daki is a demon affiliated with the Twelve Demon Moons, where she holds the rank of Sixth Upper Moon (Jōgen no Roku) alongside her elder brother Gyutaro. Disguised as a high-ranking courtesan (Oiran) in the Yoshiwara red-light district of Tokyo, she uses her position to capture her human victims without the authorities’ knowledge. Her demonic nature grants her rapid regeneration as well as the power to manipulate her own body and her silk sashes to attack from a distance and trap her prey.

This Banpresto figure recreates the antagonist’s traditional physical features and attire. Daki is depicted with her long black hair tied back, adorned with traditional decorative gold hairpins (Kanzashi). She features her distinctive pink facial markings on her cheeks and forehead. She is clad in her minimalist combat outfit, consisting of a dark-coloured ensemble with pink and gold patterns, complemented by matching long knee-high socks and high Japanese wooden sandals (Geta). Two long strands of her magical sashes flow gracefully down either side of her figure. The 16 cm figure strikes a stable standing pose, arms slightly apart, illustrating this character’s proud demeanour during the ‘Pleasure Quarter’ arc of the Japanese anime franchise.
