This articulated action figure from the prestigious Amazing Yamaguchi (Revoltech) range, designed by Kaiyodo, depicts the terrifying first attacker from the feature film, the 4th Angel.

The figure stands approximately 17 cm tall, perfectly suited to the collection’s scale for display alongside the Evangelion Unit-01. Entirely modelled under the direction of master sculptor Katsuhisa Yamaguchi, this model successfully captures the unique anatomy of this creature in three dimensions. The Revoltech joint system offers full mobility, ideal for recreating its menacing gait or the sudden twists of its torso during attacks. The PVC plastic sculpture faithfully reproduces its slender black body, white bony plates and exposed red energy core. The set includes a wide variety of interchangeable accessories: two heads (normal and post-regeneration), several pairs of claws, light spears shooting from the elbows, energy spikes and translucent blood effect parts.

The 4th Angel (known as Sachiel in the original TV series) is the very first destructive extraterrestrial entity to attack Earth at the start of the film Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone. Emerging from the oceans fifteen years after the global catastrophe known as the Second Impact, this gigantic creature marches inexorably towards the fortified city of Tokyo-3. Completely immune to conventional weaponry and the missiles of the UN military forces, its biological structure houses a red core (S2 Engine) that serves as a source of infinite energy, and generates an absolute spiritual force field known as the A.T. Field. To counter the threat posed by its destructive advance, NERV urgently deploys Evangelion Unit-01, leading to an apocalyptic urban clash during which the Angel deploys its facial regeneration abilities and piercing spears of light before triggering its self-destruction.
