Meet Art the Clown, the iconic character from the horror franchise *Terrifier*, in his *Fortnite*-inspired form with this articulated figurine produced by NECA. Inspired by the Fortnite x Terrifier / Fortnitemares crossover, this 7-inch figure brings the famous killer clown to life in the game’s style whilst retaining his instantly recognisable black-and-white costume. The figure is fully articulated to allow for a variety of display poses.

Art comes with several interchangeable faces and hands, allowing you to change his expression and pose. His kit also includes several accessories taken directly from his appearance in Fortnite: the Art’s Bag of Tricks Back Bling, a hacksaw, a clown’s horn and the Cutlery Club. The Back Bling attaches magnetically to his back, recreating in physical form one of the cosmetic accessories available in the game.

Character background and lore

Art the Clown is the central antagonist of the Terrifier horror franchise, created by writer and director Damien Leone. The character appeared prior to the Terrifier feature films in several of Leone’s productions and in the anthology All Hallows’ Eve, before becoming the murderous protagonist of the first Terrifier. In this film, he targets several young women on Halloween night.

Silent and behaving in a manner reminiscent of a mime artist, Art is distinguished by his black-and-white make-up, his little hat, his exaggerated smile and his monochrome costume. Actor David Howard Thornton plays the character in the Terrifier feature films and their sequels, helping to make him one of the most recognisable contemporary figures in slasher cinema.

However, this figurine does not directly replicate a specific scene from the films: it depicts the adaptation of Art the Clown created for Fortnite. The crossover retains his classic appearance whilst adding in-game-specific equipment, notably Art’s Bag of Tricks and the Cutlery Club. NECA has transformed these virtual elements into physical accessories, right down to the code required to unlock the Clown Attack skin in Fortnite.
