Discover Kagutsuchi-Otsu (Sniper), a heavily armed variant from Kotobukiya’s Frame Arms Girl range. This model kit, measuring approximately 20 cm, reimagines the Kagutsuchi mecha as a mechanised female character, with a configuration specifically designed for very long-range combat.

This Sniper version is distinguished by its imposing Type 110 Super Long-Range Cannon ‘Murakumo’, approximately 23.5 cm long, as well as several auxiliary forearms designed to stabilise the weaponry. The heavy armour also includes large multi-layered shields, waist-mounted boosters and roller units on the legs to facilitate rapid movement despite the weight of the equipment.

The kit allows for various configurations, including options with or without the heavy armour. Origin and background of the collection (Lore)

Frame Arms Girl is an original range from Kotobukiya derived from the Frame Arms mecha series. The concept involves reinterpreting various robots from the range as bishōjo-style female characters, whilst retaining their main mechanical elements, armour and weaponry.

Kagutsuchi-Otsu is based on the heavy mecha Kagutsuchi designed by Wataru Inata, adapted here into a character by the illustrator Doyou. The Sniper variant follows the concept of the original Frame Arms version designed for long-range shooting, equipping her with reinforced armour and a gigantic sniper rifle.

The design of this version emphasises the contrast between an articulated character silhouette and particularly massive mechanical equipment. The shields, boosters, forearms and modular attachment points allow its configuration to be modified and integrated with other compatible kits.
