Character background and lore

Miho Nishizumi is the youngest daughter of the Nishizumi family, renowned for its traditional school of sensha-dō. After leaving Kuromorimine Academy, she enrolled at Ōarai Girls’ High School, where she became captain of the tank club and leads the Anglerfish team from the cockpit of a Panzer IV.

Although naturally gentle and considerate, Miho proves to be a remarkable tactician once a battle begins. Rather than rigidly following her family’s principles, she favours a flexible, responsive approach that takes her crewmates’ needs into account. Her decisions enable Ōarai to win several decisive battles and safeguard the school’s future.
