Character’s origin and universe

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 5: Golden Wind follows Giorno Giovanna as he pursues his ambition to join the criminal organisation Passione and take control of it in order to put an end to drug trafficking. He joins Bruno Bucciarati’s team and soon finds himself facing the organisation’s mysterious leader.

Diavolo is the main antagonist of this part. Obsessed with the secret of his identity and driven by a desire to erase all traces of his past, he leads Passione from the shadows. His paranoid behaviour, brutality and absolute desire for control make him one of the most formidable enemies in the series.

His Stand, King Crimson, allows him to erase a period of time and anticipate certain events thanks to Epitaph. This particularly complex and dangerous power gives him a considerable advantage in combat and contributes to his almost elusive aura.
