Character background and lore

Jolyne Cujoh is the main protagonist of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 6: Stone Ocean and the daughter of Jotaro Kujo, the hero of Stardust Crusaders. Her story begins when she is imprisoned at Green Dolphin Street Prison in Florida after being framed for a crime.

During her imprisonment, Jolyne develops her Stand, Stone Free, which allows her to transform her body into a multitude of threads. She can use these filaments to attack, move around, eavesdrop on conversations from a distance, or even temporarily reconstruct certain parts of her body.

Jolyne inherits the determination characteristic of the Joestar family, but has a personality all of her own: independent, impulsive and extremely resilient in the face of adversity. Her journey gradually leads her to confront Enrico Pucci, a former disciple of DIO whose plan poses a threat to far more than just the prison’s inmates.

Her relationship with her father, Jotaro, also plays a central role in *Stone Ocean*. Initially marked by distance and resentment, it evolves as the story unfolds, as Jolyne discovers the true reasons behind her father’s choices.
