CHARACTER BACKSTORY (LORE)
Created by Gege Akutami in the manga launched in 2018, Aoi Todo is a third-year student at the Kyoto Exorcism School and a particularly seasoned Class 1 exorcist. With an imposing build and remarkable raw physical strength, he stands out for his eccentric personality and his obsession with the pop idol Takada-chan. In battle, Todo uses a highly strategic innate technique called ‘Boogie Woogie’. This ability allows him to instantly swap the positions of two targets imbued with occult energy (be they people, demons or objects) with a simple clap of his hands, thus disorienting his opponents during two-on-two battles.
