Kento Nanami is one of the most respected and charismatic characters in the dark fantasy manga Jujutsu Kaisen, created by Gege Akutami. A former student at the Tokyo Exorcism School, Nanami had briefly left the world of jujutsu to become an ordinary office worker in finance, in search of a stable life. Guided by his deep sense of duty and ethics, he ultimately chose to return to his calling as a Class 1 exorcist, stating with memorable nonchalance that both professions are drudgery, but that jujutsu at least allows him to tangibly protect human lives.
