Origin and world of the character
The character of the Alpha Raptor comes from the cult film Jurassic Park, initiated in 1993 by director Steven Spielberg and adapted from Michael Crichton's science fiction novel. The story takes place on Isla Nublar, a remote island where an eccentric billionaire and his team of geneticists manage to clone dinosaurs using fossilised DNA in order to open a revolutionary theme park. At the heart of this prehistoric menagerie, the Velociraptors immediately stand out as the most terrifying creatures, thanks to their extraordinary agility, pack instinct and formidable intelligence. The status of Alpha designates the dominant individual, the strategic leader of the pack capable of coordinating attacks and trapping its human prey, thus embodying one of the most memorable predator figures in the history of science fiction cinema.
