The world of K-Pop Demon Hunters (Lore)

K-Pop Demon Hunters follows Rumi, Mira and Zoey, three singers who make up the world-famous K-pop group HUNTR/X. Behind their careers as stars, however, lies a second, far more secret mission: the three artists are also demon hunters tasked with protecting the world from supernatural forces.

The film thus blends two very different worlds: the spectacular energy of K-pop, with its concerts, choreography and songs, and that of urban fantasy, populated by demons and supernatural powers.

Standing in HUNTR/X’s way are, notably, the Saja Boys, a demonic boy band using their popularity and power of seduction to threaten the balance between the human world and the world of demons.

At the heart of the story is also Rumi, whose origins and powers create a significant personal conflict. The narrative thus explores themes such as friendship, trust, identity and self-acceptance, whilst retaining the dynamic aesthetic of a genuine K-pop spectacle.
