Slim is one of the major aliens in the science fiction horror parodyKiller Klowns from Outer Space ( Les Clowns Tueurs Venus d'Ailleurs ), released in 1988 and directed by the Chiodo brothers. The plot revolves around the invasion of a small American town by creatures from outer space whose physical appearance, weapons and spaceship strictly adopt the aesthetic codes of a traditional circus and clowns. Far from being benevolent, these invaders capture the inhabitants using candyfloss guns to store and feed on them. Slim stands out from the crowd because of his enormous size, elongated face and a memorable scene in which he performs a shadow puppet show for an audience of gullible passers-by before attacking them.
