The antagonistic duo of cat Grosminet (Sylvester) and canary Titi (Tweety) was developed by directors Friz Freleng and Bob Clampett at Warner Bros. Animation Studios. Although Tweety first appeared in 1942, it was their first association in 1947, in the Oscar-winning short film Tweetie Pie, that established the dynamic of perpetual pursuit characteristic of their cartoons through the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies series.Marketed by Funko, the "Sketched Deco" variant is a reference to traditional 20th-century animation techniques. The absence of colour and the incorporation of fake pencil lines mimic the appearance of a sheet of celluloid or an initial research drawing found on the drawing tables of animators of the time, paying homage to the original graphic design stages of the characters.
