Character background and universe (Lore)

Doctor Doom, whose real name is Victor von Doom, is one of the most iconic villains in the Marvel universe. Ruler of Latveria, a scientific genius and master of the mystical arts, he is best known as one of the greatest enemies of the Fantastic Four, and more specifically of Reed Richards.

The Doctor Doom 2099 version belongs to the futuristic Marvel 2099 universe, a continuity that imagines a future dominated by megacorporations, advanced technologies and new incarnations of famous Marvel characters.

In this continuity, Doom re-emerges in a world where Latveria and the geopolitical balance have changed profoundly.
