Character background and universe (Lore)

Malice is not a completely separate character from Sue Storm: she represents a particularly dark manifestation of the Invisible Woman’s personality. In the Fantastic Four comics, this facet emerges when Psycho-Man manipulates Sue’s emotions and unleashes an aggressive and malevolent personality that is usually buried deep within her. Hasbro directly describes Malice as a dark manifestation of Sue Storm’s psyche, triggered by Psycho-Man and turned against her own team.

Sue Storm is usually one of the four founding members of the Fantastic Four. Her powers enable her not only to become invisible, but also to create powerful force fields, which she can use both to protect herself and to attack her opponents.

Under the identity of Malice, these abilities become far more dangerous due to the disappearance of Sue’s usual moral inhibitions. This incarnation then exploits her powers in a much more offensive manner, demonstrating just how formidable the Invisible Woman can become when she stops holding back.

The Magic: The Gathering | Marvel Super Heroes crossover brings together heroes and villains from several decades of Marvel comics in the form of playable cards.
