This duo is directly descended from the CG-animated masterpiece Monsters, Inc., directed by Pete Docter for Pixar Studios and released in 2001. The plot takes place in Monstropolis, a city populated by monsters whose main source of energy comes from the cries of terror of human children, collected every night by "Elite Terrorists" who break into bedrooms through magic doors. Randall Boggs (Léon Bizard in French) is a leopard-chameleon monster who is extremely jealous, devious and able to camouflage himself by changing colour to blend in with the background. A direct rival of Sulli's, he is prepared to do anything forbidden to become the factory's first Terror. His destiny changes when a 2-year-old human girl, nicknamed Boo, accidentally walks through his door and causes total panic in Monstropolis.
