Character background and lore

Rumi Usagiyama, known by her professional name Mirko, is a top-tier heroine in the My Hero Academia universe. Independent and particularly daring, she generally prefers to operate alone rather than join an agency made up of numerous partners. Her forthright nature and love of combat make her one of Japan’s most combative professionals.

Her Quirk, Lapin, grants her the key physical abilities of a lagomorph at a superhuman level. Mirko thus possesses exceptional leg strength, great speed, highly developed reflexes and particularly keen hearing. She mainly uses kicks capable of knocking back or neutralising opponents far larger than herself.

Mirko plays a major role during the assault on Dr Kyudai Garaki’s laboratory. She single-handedly takes on several High-Tier Nomus in order to prevent Tomura Shigaraki’s full awakening. Despite suffering serious injuries, she continues her attack and refuses to retreat, demonstrating exceptional resilience and determination.
