- Banpresto Ichibansho Figurine — One Piece — Kuma & Bonney (Dramatic Memories) 13cmThis exceptional collectable figurine from the prestigious Ichibansho range (Masterlise sub-category) by the leading brand Banpresto captures one of the most touching, tragic and memorable father-daughter relationships in the saga: the bond between the colossal Bartholomew Kuma and his adopted daughter, Jewelry Bonney, during her childhood. The piece stands approximately 13 cm tall, a size carefully chosen to maintain the collection’s scale in relation to the adult characters and to capture the striking physical contrast between the buccaneer’s Herculean stature and the little girl’s fragility. Drawn from the exclusive ‘Dramatic Memories’ narrative concept, the design captures a scene brimming with tenderness and pure joy: Kuma, sporting a benevolent smile devoid of any hint of his future cybernetic transformation, performs rhythmic dance steps whilst joyfully holding little Bonney, who is laughing heartily with her arms raised, creating a uniquely warm atmosphere. The high-quality PVC sculpture pays meticulous attention to the finest anatomical and sartorial details, faithfully reproducing his curly black hair, his loose-fitting travelling clothes, as well as Bonney’s childlike and expressive features. The meticulous application of paint highlights the colour gradients and the emotional intensity of this diorama. This premium collectable is aimed directly at die-hard fans of Eiichiro Oda’s masterful work, enthusiasts of the Egg Head Island arc, and discerning collectors of emotionally charged pieces from Banpresto. The item is supplied mounted on its dedicated display stand inside an illustrated cardboard box featuring the franchise’s colours.Technical specifications

Origin and character loreWithin the expansive lore of One Piece, and more specifically through the poignant revelations of the Egg Head arc, the story of Bartholomew Kuma and Jewelry Bonney stands out as one of the most moving tales in the world of piracy. Former king of the Kingdom of Sorbet, an early revolutionary alongside Monkey D. Dragon and the last survivor of the persecuted Boucanois race, Kuma chose to raise Bonney as his own daughter following the tragic death of her mother, Ginny. Suffering from a rare, fatal illness linked to blue crystals, the little girl spent her childhood confined to a church. To give her the strength to survive, Kuma passed on to her the sacred legend of Nika, the Sun God who liberated slaves, mimicking for her his joyful, rhythmic dance, which is depicted in this diorama. It is to fund Bonney’s miraculous surgical treatment at the hands of the scientist Vegapunk that Kuma agrees to a terrible pact with the World Government, gradually renouncing his humanity, her memories and her free will, to become the lifeless cyborg weapon PX-0 in the service of the Navy.
