Persona 5 Royal — Crow — OSHI WORKS figurine, 20.5 cm

The mysterious Crow joins Kotobukiya’s OSHI WORKS collection with this figurine inspired by the video game Persona 5 Royal. Depicted in his white Phantom Thief outfit, the character strikes an elegant and confident pose that highlights his refined appearance and his image as a vigilante.

The sculpture captures the key elements of his costume, including his sophisticatedly designed uniform, gloves, boots and distinctive mask. The painted finish highlights the contrasts between white, red, black and gold detailing, whilst retaining the stylised aesthetic unique to Persona 5 Royal.

Standing approximately 20.5 cm tall, this statuette offers a size similar to that of a scale figure whilst remaining accessible to collectors. The OSHI WORKS range was designed by Kotobukiya to showcase popular characters with detailed sculpting, meticulous painting and a display-friendly format.

A removable acrylic panel inspired by the Revolver command interface is included with the statuette. Placed behind Crow, it recreates the game’s red and black visual identity and adds further depth to the display. It can also be removed for a more understated display.

The figurine stands on a standardised square base, designed to make it easy to display alongside other OSHI WORKS characters. Figurines of Joker and Violet are also planned for this collection to form a set dedicated to Persona 5 Royal.

Character background and universe (Lore)

Persona 5 Royal follows a group of teenagers known as the Phantom Thieves of Hearts. Thanks to their ability to enter the Metaverse, they explore the Palaces formed by the corrupt desires of certain individuals and attempt to bring about a change of heart in them.

In his civilian life, Goro Akechi is a particularly gifted sixth-former who also works as a detective. His powers of deduction and the numerous cases he has solved have earned him widespread media attention, as well as the nickname ‘the new Prince of Detectives’.

Akechi is publicly critical of the Phantom Thieves, questioning their methods and legitimacy. His investigation nevertheless leads him to collaborate with them under the codename Crow, particularly when they must explore Sae Niijima’s Palace.

In this first appearance as a Phantom Thief, Crow wears a white outfit inspired by a prince or a law enforcement officer. His red, long-beaked mask and luminous costume stand in stark contrast to Joker’s black outfit, emphasising the opposition and rivalry between the two characters.

Crow initially uses the Robin Hood Persona, which ties in with his public image as a righteous and charismatic hero. He fights using a lightsaber and a ray gun, whilst mastering various types of offensive and support skills.

Behind this elegant, smiling façade, however, lies a far more complex personality, shaped by loneliness, anger and a deep desire for recognition. His relationship with the Joker thus fluctuates between admiration, competition and hostility, making Crow one of the most ambiguous characters in Persona 5 Royal.

This OSHI WORKS figurine depicts Crow’s first identity, reflecting the noble and sophisticated image he presents to the Phantom Thieves and the public before his true motivations are revealed.
