The elegant Violet joins Kotobukiya’s OSHI WORKS collection with this figurine inspired by the video game Persona 5 Royal. Depicted in her Phantom Thief outfit, she strikes a graceful yet determined pose that highlights her agility, poise and fighting style, which is directly influenced by gymnastics.

The sculpture faithfully reproduces her form-fitting black costume, gloves, high-top boots and dark mask with silver detailing. Her long auburn hair, tied back with a red ribbon, complements the movement of the pose and reinforces the impression of lightness characteristic of the character.

Standing approximately 25 cm tall, this statuette is similar in size to a scale model figurine. Its painted finish highlights the contrasts between the black of her outfit, the red of her hair and the metallic details of her equipment. Kotobukiya presents the OSHI WORKS range as a collection combining a generous size, meticulous painting and a design intended to make it easy to display multiple characters.

A removable acrylic panel featuring the Revolver Command interface from *Persona 5 Royal* is included. Placed behind Violet, it echoes the game’s red, black and white colour scheme and adds further depth to the composition. The panel can also be removed for a more understated display.

Character background and universe (Lore)

Persona 5 Royal follows a group of secondary school pupils capable of entering the Metaverse, a supernatural world formed by the twisted desires of certain people. Under the guise of the Phantom Thieves of Hearts, they explore Palaces, battle Shadows and attempt to bring about a change of heart in corrupt adults.

Sumire Yoshizawa is a first-year student who has recently transferred to Shujin Academy. A top-level gymnast, she is part of a special programme for promising students and stands out for her discipline, agility and determination to live up to the expectations placed upon her.

In the Metaverse, she goes by the codename Violet. Her black costume, dark mask and acrobatic movements are a direct reflection of her experience as a gymnast. She fights primarily with a rapier and a firearm, favouring rapid, precise and elegant attacks.

Her initial Persona, Cinderella, is inspired by the character of Cinderella and symbolises the themes of transformation, identity and the quest for self-confidence, which are central to her story. She specialises in physical and Blessing-type abilities.

Violet’s journey is closely linked to the new events of the third semester in Persona 5 Royal. Faced with a painful past and a fragile sense of identity, she must learn to accept her true self rather than trying to live up to someone else’s idealised image of her. This journey allows her to rediscover her determination and choose for herself the path she wishes to follow.

This OSHI WORKS figurine depicts Violet in her iconic Phantom Thief guise. Her fluid and dignified pose reflects her mastery of gymnastics, her graceful fighting style and the inner strength she gains throughout the story.
