Origin and world of the character (Lore)
Making its debut in 1996 in the original Pokémon Green and Red versions for Game Boy, Elektek is a wild Pokémon renowned for its electric temperament and its annoying tendency to get close to power stations to feed on electricity. In battle or in excitement, powerful sparks shoot out from its entire body, and the simple act of waving its arms in a circle allows it to generate an intense magnetic field. Later evolving into Élekable when swapped for an Electrifier, this Pokémon, which is inseparable from the Kanto region, has left its mark on trainers, particularly through its memorable appearances in the animated series alongside Major Bob and trainer Paul.
