History and background of the model
Florizarre made its first appearance in Japan in 1996 in the Pokémon Green and Pokémon Red video games for Game Boy, for which it was the official mascot in the Green version. Drawn by Ken Sugimori, it represents the ultimate stage in Bulbizarre's evolutionary line and is a historic pillar of the franchise. This Pokémon is characterised by the symbiosis between a massive amphibian and a giant tropical flower (reminiscent of a rafflesia) that blooms thanks to the sun's rays.Marketed by Funko, this "Premium" edition is larger than the classic Pop! figures, in keeping with the character's imposing size and proportions in the games universe.
