Kanon is the twin brother of Saga, the Gold Saint of Gemini, and one of the most complex characters in Saint Seiya. Initially driven by ambition and resentment, he manipulates events from the shadows before embarking on a path to redemption. His connection to the constellation of Gemini perfectly reflects his duality: between betrayal and loyalty, darkness and light.

In Saint Seiya, Kanon features as a central character in the Poseidon arc, where he acts under the guise of the Sea General, Sea Dragon. After facing the consequences of his actions, he finds a form of redemption and later dons the Gold Cloth of Gemini.
