SILENT HILL 2 - POP Games N° 1204 - Bubblehead Nurse

This vinyl figure represents the antagonistic monster Bubblehead Nurse, based on his appearance in the survival horror video game Silent Hill 2.

This model reproduces the visual characteristics of the creature, using the graphic style typical of the Funko POP! range, with an oversized head and simplified body. The character is depicted in her characteristic distorted and convulsive posture, dressed in a short, worn and soiled nurse's uniform, complete with medical headdress. Her face is completely hidden under convulsive bandages that mimic the texture of a swollen membrane. She holds a hose or a metal bladed weapon firmly in her hand, ready to attack. The markings below the figure's name on the packaging read "Vinyl Figure", designating a figure with a fixed head.

Designed primarily for display on a shelf, on a desk or in a window, this collector's item comes in its original cardboard packaging with a transparent window so you can see the figure without opening the box.

Graphically designed by Masahiro Ito for Konami in 2001, the Bubblehead Nurse is one of the most recurring and memorable monstrous figures in the Silent Hill 2 franchise. Like the other entities in the town, she embodies the psychological torment, guilt and repressed desires of the protagonist, James Sunderland. Her grotesque, jerky nurse figure symbolises James's anguish and sexual frustration over the long hospitalisation of his sick wife, Mary, as well as his terror of the medical environment and physical deterioration. The creatures are mainly to be found in Brookhaven Hospital, and embody the danger and insanity that overtake visitors to the town.
