Origin and world of the character
Amy Rose is a leading character in the Sonic the Hedgehog video game franchise, created by Japanese company Sega. First introduced in 1993 in the Sonic the Hedgehog CD game, she is an anthropomorphic pink hedgehog characterised by her quick temper, romantic nature and attachment to the protagonist Sonic.
