STAR WARS - TIE Fighter - Model Kit

This plastic model kit allows you to faithfully recreate the legendary TIE Fighter, the standard and ubiquitous interceptor starfighter of the Imperial fleet, from the original trilogy of the globally successful Star Wars film saga.

The model incorporates the stylistic and technical features of the Revell Model Set range. It combines great ease of assembly with excellent attention to detail at a 1/110 scale. The mechanical model accurately captures the sleek, geometric silhouette of the famous combat craft, characterised by its two imposing vertical hexagonal solar panels connected to a central spherical cockpit. It meticulously reproduces the surface texture, revealing numerous textured engravings on the fuselage (upper access hatch, twin laser cannons mounted beneath the front canopy, internal details of the wing joints). Designed to offer a smooth assembly experience, this model features sturdy parts moulded from light grey injection-moulded plastic to ensure a superb finish once assembled.

Intended primarily as an introduction to model-making, for display on a desk or shelf, this collector’s item is supplied as a complete, all-in-one ‘Model Set’ box. Its original cardboard packaging protects all the parts sprays and contains the essential accessories needed to complete the model straight away without any additional purchases, including special glue, a paintbrush and the necessary basic acrylic paint pots.

Mass-produced by Sienar Fleet Systems, this craft is designed to prioritise sheer speed, ferocious agility in close-quarters combat and minimal manufacturing costs. To minimise the weight of its structure as much as possible, the Empire deliberately chose to strip it of defensive shields, a hyperdrive system and life support, forcing its elite pilots to wear a full-body pressurised suit. Instantly recognisable by the terrifying, shrill screech of its engines as it streaks past at high speed, the TIE fighter has become the symbol of Imperial tyranny.
