STREET FIGHTER - Akuma - Figure 15cm

Meet Akuma, the fearsome master of the fist, with this 15 cm articulated figure from Hasbro. Inspired by his modern look in Street Fighter, it allows you to recreate various fighting poses as well as his techniques fuelled by the Satsui no Hado.

Akuma wears a black, sleeveless karategi with deliberately torn edges, paired with matching trousers and a thick grey rope belt. His reinforced gauntlets and sandals complete this austere outfit, whilst his imposing black bead necklace emphasises his powerful silhouette. His dark red hair and beard are pulled back, reflecting his appearance as a fighter who has fully embraced a destructive martial path.

Thanks to its multiple points of articulation, the figure can assume various stances, from low guard positions to poses designed to depict his special attacks. It comes with a large translucent purple energy effect, mounted on a transparent stand to simulate a projectile launched in front of the character.

Two red flame effects can also be attached around his forearms, whilst a large back effect depicts the Satsui no Hado aura unfolding behind him. An alternative head with a calmer expression and two interchangeable open hands round off the display options. The set is presented in an illustrated display box featuring Street Fighter’s colour scheme.

Character background and lore

Akuma is a fighter who has chosen to cast aside all restraint in order to master the Satsui no Hado, a murderous energy fuelled by the instinct to fight. He relentlessly pursues his goal of becoming the undisputed master of the fist and seeks out opponents powerful enough to offer him a battle worthy of the name.

The younger brother of Gouken, Ryu and Ken’s master, Akuma practises a particularly aggressive form of Ansatsuken. His repertoire includes, notably, the Gohadoken, the Goshoryuken and the Tatsumaki Zankukyaku. His most feared technique remains the Shun Goku Satsu, a lightning-fast attack also known as the Raging Demon.
