Meet Flandre Scarlet, the young vampire from the Scarlet Demon’s Manor, with this figurine from FuRyu’s Noodle Stopper Figure collection.

Flandre is depicted sitting in a gentle, smiling pose, clutching a small brown teddy bear to her chest. This more peaceful scene contrasts with the character’s formidable power and highlights her childlike appearance. Her short blonde hair, red eyes and pink bonnet adorned with a large scarlet bow make her instantly recognisable.

She wears a red and pink dress adorned with numerous ruffles, a light-coloured collar and small contrasting details. A large bow at the back completes her outfit, whilst her red shoes and pink socks extend the colourful harmony of the composition.

Flandre’s distinctive wings play a prominent role in the sculpture. They take the form of dark branches from which hang several translucent crystals in different colours. These multicoloured elements create a striking contrast with the red tones of her dress and add depth to her silhouette.

Thanks to her seated position, the figurine can be placed on the edge of a shelf, a desk or any other flat surface. Like the other models in the Noodle Stopper range, it can also be used to keep the lid of a packet of instant noodles closed whilst they are being prepared.

Origin and character background

Flandre Scarlet is Remilia Scarlet’s younger sister and lives in the cellars of the Scarlet Devil Mansion. Despite her childlike appearance, she is an extremely powerful vampire who has remained in isolation for several centuries due to her unpredictable nature.

She possesses the ability to destroy virtually any target by concentrating her power into the palm of her hand. This considerable power makes her one of the most dangerous characters in Gensokyo, although she is also curious, playful and sometimes naïve.

Her wings are one of her most striking distinguishing features. Unlike traditional vampire wings, they resemble two branches adorned with multicoloured crystals. This Noodle Stopper figurine faithfully captures this feature whilst offering a more serene interpretation of the character, seated with her teddy bear.
