Origin and backstory of the character
Eddie Brock is the most iconic host of the Venom symbiote. Initially an adversary of Spider-Man, he gradually evolves into an anti-hero and then a protector, fighting alongside Earth’s heroes against ever-greater threats.
In the ‘King in Black’ event, Knull, god of the symbiotes and master of the Living Abyss, invades Earth at the head of a vast army of symbiotic creatures. Eddie is then granted the power of the Enigma Force and becomes Captain Universe to confront him. Following Knull’s defeat, he inherits the role of King in Black and takes control of the symbiotes’ collective consciousness.
This figurine captures this major transformation through dark armour, an imposing red emblem and symbiotic extensions, in a piece designed for fans of Marvel, Venom and cosmic stories centred on symbiotes.
