Origin and world of the character
Winnie the Pooh is a fictional anthropomorphic teddy bear created in 1926 by the British writer Alan Alexander Milne, then adapted to huge success by the Disney studios. Residing in the Forest of Blue Dreams alongside his faithful companions Tigger, Piglet, Eeyore and Little Guru, this greedy bear is characterised by his naivety, kindness and unconditional love of honey. The design concept of the 'Whittled' range pays visual homage to the craftsmanship of yesteryear by applying textures of striations and veins to the PVC that perfectly imitate the work of hand-crafted woodcarving.- *
