ATTACK ON TITAN SPLIT - POP Animation N° 2553 - Beast Titan

Discover Zeke Jaeger and his Beast Titan form brought together in this Funko POP! Animation No. 2553 figurine from Attack on Titan. This Split edition combines Zeke’s human form with that of his imposing Titan in a single sculpture, directly embodying his dual identity. The figurine measures approximately 10.2 cm in height.

The visual design divides the character vertically into two parts. One side depicts Zeke in human form, with his blond hair, whilst the other reveals the ape-like features of the Beast Titan, with its brown fur, pointed ear, exposed teeth and muscular build. The division extends down the body, where the human attire gradually gives way to the Titan’s anatomy and fur.

Made from PVC/vinyl, this figure joins the ‘Split’ series dedicated to the saga’s main Titan wielders. It can be displayed alongside the POP! figures of Eren Jaeger / Attacking Titan No. 2551, Reiner Braun / Armoured Titan No. 2552 and Annie Leonhart / Female Titan No. 2554, which all utilise the same hybrid design concept.

Character origin and background (Lore)

Zeke Jaeger is one of the main characters in Attack on Titan and the wielder of the Beast Titan, one of the Nine Titans. His transformed form measures approximately 17 metres and takes on a particularly distinctive ape-like appearance, with long arms, a body largely covered in fur, and the ability to speak whilst transformed.

Zeke is also Eren Jaeger’s half-brother on their father’s side, Grisha. His mother, Dina Fritz, belongs to the Eldian royal line, which grants Zeke special abilities when he uses the power of the Beast Titan. This ancestry plays a key role in the character’s strategic importance within the conflict between Marley, Paradis and the various bearers of the Primordial Titans.

Zeke’s Beast Titan is notably distinguished by its exceptional throwing power. Thanks to the length of his arms and Zeke’s experience, he can hurl rocks and other projectiles with devastating precision and force, an ability used to particularly spectacular effect during the Battle of Shiganshina.

His royal blood also enables him to use his roar to transform Ymir’s Subjects who have ingested his spinal fluid into Pure Titans, and then to exercise a degree of control over these creatures. This unusual ability brings certain capabilities of the Beast Titan closer to those normally associated with the Founding Titan.

The ‘Split’ design of this POP! No. 2553 therefore directly illustrates Zeke’s duality by combining the man and the Beast Titan in a single figurine, much like the other Titan wielders featured in this Funko series.
