Character background and universe (Lore)

Victor von Doom, better known as Doctor Doom, is one of the most iconic villains in the Marvel universe. Traditionally associated with the Fantastic Four, he is a genius scientist, a master of technology and an extremely skilled practitioner of the occult arts.

Doom is also the ruler of Latveria, a fictional country which he governs with an iron fist. His metallic armour provides him with protection, physical strength and various offensive systems, whilst his mask has become one of the character’s most recognisable symbols.

In the comics, his rivalry with Reed Richards plays a central role in his story. His ambition, however, extends far beyond the Fantastic Four: Doom has regularly clashed with the Avengers and numerous other Marvel heroes in his quest for power and control.

This EAA-175 figure specifically recreates his cinematic design from *Avengers: Doomsday*, complete with a silver mask, green cape and dark armour. Beast Kingdom presents it as a stylised adaptation of this new incarnation of the character.
