Character background and lore

Sakiko Togawa is one of the central characters in the story arc developed in *BanG Dream! It's MyGO!!!!!* and subsequently in *BanG Dream! Ave Mujica. A talented pianist, she previously held an important position within CRYCHIC, a band whose break-up plays a decisive role in the relationships between several of the series’ protagonists. The official BanG Dream! website identifies Sakiko as one of the main characters associated with Ave Mujica.

Following the events surrounding CRYCHIC, Sakiko became the driving force behind the formationof Ave Mujica, a band characterised by a dark visual identity, theatrical performances and the use of stage names. Within the band, she performs under the nameOblivionis and plays a central role in the group’s artistic direction.

Sakiko also has a long-standing connection with Mutsumi Wakaba, whom she has known since childhood. Their shared history, combined with their experiences within CRYCHIC and later Ave Mujica, forms one of the series’ key narrative threads.

This ‘Pajama Party!’ version deliberately contrasts with the dramatic world of Ave Mujica by presenting Sakiko in a much calmer and more intimate setting. It thus offers a complementary portrayal of the character, ideal for display alongside Mutsumi in the same Yumemirize collection.
